Tampa Florida

First stop in Tampa area was Lazydays RV dealership. We decided to explore possible iRV replacements. We have determined with a year of rv experience there are some additional comforts we probably deserve.
They really make it convenient to shop and buy. They have a very nice campground for those wanting to stay a few days. They offered us some free parking and food. Can't beat that.
Didn't find anything to invest in but will keep an eye out.

While in the Tampa area we attended the Indy Race Car races in St. Petersburg. Enjoyed seeing various races (they have sports cars, trucks, Indy Light cars, and then the big boys). The trucks were quite entertaining with ramps to jump on the track. Watched from various locations around the track. Boy are these guys all loud!!!! Good thing we had ear plugs. Lots of exhibits too so we had to win a few free T-shirts. T-shirts very handy in the RV world.

Visited the Yuengling Brewery. Their brewery in Pennsylvania is the oldest in the US. Pretty modest facility compared to what we are used to at A-B but interesting. Of course included tasting.

I liked the Traditional Lager which I decided was similar to Michelob Amberbock. And since it is not widely available I adopted it as my local favorite.
While drinking a few Yuengling's worked on taxes. Drinking goes well with working on taxes.
Next stop: Titusville, FL.

Palm Beach Florida

Well my new years resolution to communicate more frequently has now officially ended since it has been more than a month since my last post.
We finally left warm and dry Palm Springs, CA March 1st  and headed for Florida with a brief stop-over in St. Louis. With some weather dodging we made it to St. Louis without the Irv (left it in warmer Mississippi).
Enjoyed visits with credit union associates, family and friends.

Then back to the iRV and on to Palm Beach, FL.
Went to couple Cardinal baseball games with Mike and Terri, Rick, Carol, Dan and Melanie. Always fun enjoying food and drink with family.

Played some golf with Mike and Terri. Game inconsistent but still enjoyable to be playing in March in sunny warm weather.

Went to the National Croquet Club, a country club with about 12 croquet fields, no golf course. Inside was a Hall of Fame exhibit with some very prominent people. People here are very serious about this game and their club.  Everything was very proper including attire, whites.

Somebody didn't get the memo.
No that is not me. Mary and I were properly attired.
Attended a beginners lesson. Learned basic technic and strategy. Then played a game.
Lost, 7-3. That is 7 wickets made by opponents, 3 by us (mostly Mary). But our opponents were not beginners so I thought we did pretty good.

Mary lines up the shot.

Mary got in a brief view of bike races at Lake Worth.
